Yes, foreigners can study in primary schools in Singapore. The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Singapore allows non-citizens to enroll in local primary schools, provided they meet certain requirements.
Foreign students who wish to study in Singaporean primary schools must obtain a Student’s Pass, which is issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). The Student’s Pass allows them to stay in Singapore for the duration of their studies.
Additionally, there may be certain eligibility criteria and procedures to follow, such as submitting the necessary documents and fulfilling any language requirements. It is advisable to contact the school directly or visit the MOE website for detailed information and specific application procedures.
It’s worth noting that there may be limited vacancies for foreign students in each school, and priority is usually given to Singaporean citizens and permanent residents.
